21 October, 2011 OSG Records Management is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring a keynote session at the the ARMA International / NAID-Europe / PRISM International joint European conference which takes place in London from the 7 – 9 November 2011.
PRISM International is the global trade association for document and data management companies. OSG Records Management’s CEO Krzysztof Bobrowski, will Introduce guest speaker Peter Hustinx, the EU Commission’s Data Protection Supervisor. Mr Hustinx will discuss the importance of accountability and transparency in relationships between primary data custodians including banks and insurance companies, and their service providers such as OSG. The session will look at the safety of personal information stored and the regulatory liabilities between data controllers and their vendors, including data breach notification, the data retention directive, and storage of data on ‘the cloud’. The conference of Prism/NAID/ARMA in London is the major annual industry event in Europe that will gather hundreds of participants and visitors from around the globe to discuss current trends and challenges in records management, data protection and its outsourcing. The conference will focus on current developments in the European Union. In addition, a delegation of OSG directors from across Europe & Asia will inform the conference on new developments from a wider region which includes Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
