December 1, 2017 OSG Records Management, the document storage and archival experts, has opened a new document storage archive in Astana. The purpose-built facility is located in the industrial zone of Astana, just 20 minutes from the city center.
It has a capacity of 500 m² and has high specifications for security, fire-prevention and safety. OSG launched in Kazakhstan in 2004 with its first archive in Almaty. The company provides offsite document storage, scanning, archival services, document destruction and safe storage of backup tapes. Their client base includes leading international and regional companies in sectors such as banking, retail, oil, insurance, telecoms, service and legal. Outsourcing document storage is becoming increasingly popular as it allows companies to cut the costs associated with running an in-house archive such as real estate, staff and infrastructure. Advanced systems also speed up access to documents and allow staff to share information on them faster and more accurately. OSG is the largest archival company in Kazakhstan, Russia and the CIS.
Mikhail Betin, General Manager OSG Kazakhstan commented: “We are now able to offer our services in the two key cities of Astana and Almaty. OSG is pleased to be part of the successful development of business in Kazakhstan. We look forward to working with clients in Astana to help them achieve operational efficiencies.”
