14 April, 2016 On the 4th of April 2016, it was confirmed that President Vladimir Putin will now take personal responsibility for the Federal Archival Agency (Rosarkhiv). A decree on resubordination of Rosarkhiv was signed and Vladimir Putin stated the importance of these new measures, due the ‘special value’ of these public archival documents.
