Instead of sending the entire file, it sends only changed blocks. It also compresses them which minimizes information transfer even further, making it extremely fast. The process is significantly faster than copying to traditional tapes. With IT-Archive, you also have the option of intelligent de-duplication ensuring only one copy of every file is backed up. Less storage space means greater efficiency and a cleaner archive.

Encrypted for maximum security

All data is encrypted before it leaves your network making it impossible to read during transfer and storage. You select the coding algorithm you prefer; AES 128/256b, DES 56/112b or Blowfish 56/128b. OSG uses SSL protocol to create an encrypted link to the server, the same technology used in online banking to guarantee data confidentiality. You retrieve data using a unique security code, created by you during configuration. Nobody but you has access to your code, not even OSG.
