OSG’s Operations Director appointed to the Council of the Federal Archive Agency of Russia

The Public Council of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia recently met to discuss developments including new cooperation and constructive dialogue with private sector and civil society institutions in line with the Federal Law No. 32-FZ "On the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation" dated April 4, 2005.
E.I. Pivovar was appointed as the Chairman of the Public Council. Пивовар. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Federal Archival Agency, A.N. Artizov and his deputy, V.P. Tarasov, Head of Department for organization and operation of the federal archives, A.V. Groshev.
The Council has decided to appoint Alexei Rykov, OSG Operations Director, to represent Russian non-governmental archives on the Council.
Alexey Rykov commented:It is a great honour to represent the non-governmental archives on the Council. We look forward to building even stronger links with the Council and its membership. OSG is pleased to support the important work of the Council and the Russian Archive industry.
